These are 48 wedding invitations I have made for my sister-in-law and her hubby to be for their wedding next year in February. The design is a Flap card style and the base card is Kunzite metallic card. The front of the invitation is Quartz metallic card embossed with a Cuttlebug embossing folder, birds I think, and embellished with pearls then matted on black cardstock. The flap has their picture and I used Spellbinders Labels Two to cut the black cardstock and the photo. Then it was also embellished with pearls. The flap is held closed by magnetic strip, one piece that is hidden under the quartz card on the front. The inside of the invitation has a vellum overlay and pocket that have been embossed with the same Cuttlebug embossing folder. The invitation information was just printed on the computer and I used a ribbon to separate the wedding info from the RSVP info. My sister-in-law and her fiance are getting married at a later age and decided they would have a wishing well instead of getting gifts as they mostly have everything they need already. Any money given will be going towards their honeymoon in Spain and England! Hence, the little poem tucked away into the pocket on the invite. It was also made from black cardstock, embossed quartz cardstock and the poem was printed on matching kunite metallic paper. They have turned out better than expected and I am so pleased with them and luckily so are Cindy and Paul, the bride and groom to be! Thanks for looking!
